Other Threaded Inserts And Their Functions

To be effective in woodwork solutions, threaded inserts like knife-thread and hexdrive are used. A press insert – the most desired inserts for metal is also used to add threads to plastic parts but unlike a molded insert that can be used even before the plastic component is formed, this can be added only after the plastic mold is in place. To be effective for uses in metal, self-tapping threaded inserts are mostly used. They are capable of cutting their own threads while being placed in the piece of work.
